When I worked on Perplex City, the best part was meeting and writing with a fantastic team of people. We all kept in touch and occasionally worked on projects in pairs, but we wanted to write something together again – all four us, like old times, getting the band back together.
Then we did it, with Balance of Powers.
Is it a book? Is it a game? No, it’s an online story, told in weekly instalments, with some physical artefacts that help to expand the world and a few live online events that people can take part in.
When the story wrapped up, we printed a hardback version of the tale for our top-tier backers. It’s a very handsome volume.
